Following a period of rapid growth, the owners of Innoveo, a leading provider of enterprise no-code software solutions, completed a Series A funding. Now the company needed to demonstrate to investors as well as customers that it had what it takes to reach the next level of growth.
Innoveo is a global technology provider with a proven track record for speeding up go-to-market strategies and accelerating digital transformation journeys with its no-code platform, Innoveo Skye®. From the insurance industry to financial services and real estate, Innoveo delivered more than 500 applications and processed more than $1 billion in transactions to corporations worldwide. To fuel continued growth, the company’s owners, which include some of the world’s highest-profile, savviest private investors, tapped the market for a first round of venture capital financing.
In the fast-growing but hotly competitive fintech space, Innoveo needed to define and communicate a differentiated value proposition that would appeal to prospective clients as well as investors. Through interviews with company leadership and key clients, we learned that while the company’s technology was widely admired, it was the experience of working with Innoveo that truly impressed clients. A comprehensive competitive landscape analysis revealed that virtually every player touted their “unmatched” expertise, rendering the word almost meaningless. The opportunity for Innoveo: stand out in this sea of sameness by translating expertise into something meaningful and unique that it could “own” in the marketplace.
The new brand accomplished this by focusing on the emotional outcomes that expertise creates, including peace of mind and confidence. The “No Surprises” brand goes right to the core of what Innoveo clients are looking for. To engage employees in exemplifying the brand at every internal and external touchpoint, the brand was activated through experience principles: “Humanize every step. Craft in everything. Drive results.” The “No Surprises” brand proved equally engaging to customers, with sales momentum gaining traction following launch.
