The Telly Awards were established in 1979 to recognize exceptional work in television commercials, and have evolved overtime as technology has advanced. The Awards are judged by the Telly Awards Judging Council, a group of more than 200 industry experts, who select and identify the most impressive contributions in video and television. Past recipients have included Bloomberg, CBS Interactive, HBO, and the Wall Street Journal, and recipients are selected from more than 12,000 global entrants.
Howard Breindel, co-CEO of DeSantis Breindel, said, “We are thrilled to receive a Telly Award for our work on This is Capitalism. Producing this video series was an exciting and very productive partnership with Stephens. The videos powerfully support the Stephens ‘independence’ brand by demonstrating how visionary individuals charted an independent course to create exceptional value for themselves, their businesses and the American economy.”
To produce This is Capitalism, DeSantis Breindel enlisted the collaboration of the firm’s project management, strategy, and production teams, resulting in a video series that features the compelling narratives of individuals like Alexander Hamilton, Sam Walton, and Helena Rubenstein.
