The awards ceremony, hosted by Anish Shah, was held in New York City. “We are proud to host an evening where those in the branding community can celebrate and take pride in their achievements,” says Andrew Thomas, publishing editor at Transform magazine. “This year, the calibre of submission has been phenomenal, and the clients and agencies that have won have demonstrated outstanding creative ability and strategic insight.”
VASCO (OneSpan’s previous name), came to DeSantis Breindel for help with rebranding as it transformed from a digital security hardware provider into a software platform offer. Despite having acquired an e-signatures company, VASCO was having difficulty unifying the company because the business units remained largely siloed, and the acquisition was neither recognized by customers nor understood by the market. DeSantis Breindel developed a new brand strategy, messaging, design language, and brand architecture, as well as a new name — OneSpan. The new name and messaging emphasized that, as a single platform, OneSpan’s security apps and secure e-signatures allowed highly regulated companies to make the bold moves that win customer loyalty.
This rebrand was transformative — a true catalyst for change to the company’s positioning, offerings, and corporate culture. After a major acquisition and new executive vision, the OneSpan name and positioning helped unite employees around a common path forward. Their enthusiastic embrace of this transformation was critical in taking the message of change to market, which responded with overwhelming positivity, rewarding the company with revenue growth, new platform adoption, and investor confidence.
The Transform Awards consistently sets a high benchmark for work in brand development, and DeSantis Breindel’s excellence was recognized from a field of powerhouse industry specialists.
